a mouthful of hot and a mouthful of cold
The winter chills seeped into her harden bones, her face numbed from the cold.
Come, come, there there
Shall i make something nice since you've come thus far?
The merry witch danced and pranced
wand in the air, pot flying
looked at her with smiling eyes
brown and gold, ice in a bowl
another hot bowl, little warm stones
a mouthful of hot and a mouthful of cold
two bowls of wonderful goodness here you go!
Her ears turned red, her cheeks pinked
she could feel her face again despite the winter wind.
She looked at the merry witch
smiled back at her with her merry eyes.
a mouthful of hot and a mouthful of cold
I'm on a roll!
a mouthful of hot and a mouthful of cold
opposites placed together - you've got me sold!
She couldn't stop,
bowls of ice and bowls of stones.
It was a satisfying day.

"deux-taposition"
I asked for time and they gave me stones.
I asked for the moon and they gave me books.
I asked for blue sky and they gave me pencils.
I asked for coffee and they gave me you.
I stopped asking after that.

If I could, I would: in a dress made of forest flower and wild leaves, move speedily into my private space where my only friends are dark bunches of thought bubbles and witty, talking sponge beds.

Suprise
A surprise was found, buried deep in the darkest depths of the Indian cave. It enticed me with its cheap rounded body of white and red, the rarity of this occurrence leaving a strange aftertaste of nostalgia. It whispered, I am no common surprise, for I am given to you with love; do not judge me by my appearance. And it is true, for the surprise was love, and I should never judge love by its cover.
